Purple Edge Correction

Purple fringing is when you get purple or magenta color in high contrast edges adjacent to bright areas (such as daylight or various types of gas discharge lamps) in the image. It is most often caused by chromatic aberration that occurs because different colors of light do not focus in the same plane when going through the optical system of the digital camera.

Visidon purple edge correction removes purple edge artefacts automatically. The user sets only one strength parameter for how much chroma correction is done.
